Adjudicate a screening hit
Reviewing match evidence and recording a verdict that will still make sense to a reviewer next year.

A hit is a party matched against a watchlist entry, with a score assembled from per-attribute evidence. Adjudication is a judgement over that evidence, not over the score.
What to look atPermalink to this section
- Which attributes actually corresponded — a high name similarity with a mismatched date of birth is a different finding from both matching.
- The watchlist entry as it stood when the hit was raised, which the hit retains.
- The list version, so you know the state of the source at the time.
- The party's other identifiers and relationships.
Recording the decisionPermalink to this section
The verdict, the reviewer and the evidence as it stood are recorded together, and reading the party's encrypted identifiers during the review is itself an audited event. What a reviewer can reconstruct afterwards is not just what you decided but what you were looking at.
